Grue Assistant — Privacy Policy and Terms
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Grue Assistant is a private tool. It is used only by its developer, Paul Kyle, to connect the developer’s own AI agents to the developer’s own Google accounts. It is not offered to the public, and no one else can sign in to it.
What it accesses
With the account owner’s consent, Grue Assistant reads Gmail messages and Google Drive files, and can create Gmail drafts and labels, for the developer’s own accounts only. It does not send email, delete mail or files, or change sharing on Drive files.
How data is handled
- OAuth tokens are stored on the developer’s own server and are not shared.
- Google user data is not sold, shared, or transferred to anyone, and is not used for advertising.
- Content an agent reads may be sent to the AI model provider that runs the agent, for processing only, under that provider’s terms.
- Use of data received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account → Third-party connections.
Terms
Grue Assistant is a personal tool provided as-is, with no warranty, to its developer only. These terms and this policy are one page on purpose.
